SMRT mentioned it will take them like 2 years to
breakeven....just like how NEL started...
but based on FY09/10, it's going to be a big hole
Ridership is only 29,000 to 30,000 (5260 passengers/ km) vs
NEL's 140,000 (7000 passengers/ km) during it's starting years
unless CCL1 & CCL2 starts ops next year
but I still remembered e SMRT CEO made a remark abt taking over
e NEL when it was loss making
