Muslims from across northern India come to buy and sell goats and sheep for Eid.

Known in India as Bakri (Goat) Eid, Muslims sacrifice the animal to remember the prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his own son.

"One goat is to be sacrificed for one person," says Mullah Javed Anwar.

"You can tell if it's a good goat by its size and number of teeth," these boys say.

Transport in Delhi can be tricky at times but persuading a goat to travel by rickshaw is even harder.

North Indian cuisine has many tasty recipes but on a cold day, a steaming bowl of biryani remains a favourite.
