Superbus SG Those are pictures of real supercell thunderstorms, probably taken somewhere in the Tornado Alley (these storms produce tornadoes by the way). So those are not pictures of Hurricane Katrina. If it were, you would probably see torrential rain and debris in the air rather than the storm clouds themselves!
Rhonda SG The photos actually look astoundingly beautiful. I remember an American friend telling me that in Tulsa, OK, they get in the path of tornadoes pretty often. I was staying there with them at that time and I got a tad scared! They said that when they had a tornado warning, the air would suddenly be very very still. And when they saw the tornado, they'd rush out to watch. Apparently, just prior to the tornado's arrival, the sky would be mesmerising in blues, greens, peach, etc.
laurence82 SG So unearthly... For those of you laugh at victims of Katrina for being sinful, hpe god send his storm to singapore soon and cleanse this city of idiots...
Manager433 SG Me also not too sure if this the real hurrican katrina or not. I received this pics plus some powerpoint pictures ( how to post here? ) of the damages streets/houses thru some colleague.
