Windows Vista is a resource hog, It require 512mb minimum to run Windows vist home basic and 1GB of ram to run home premium.

To use the new "Aero" feature, the pc needs a graphic card that Support for DirectX 9 graphics with a WDDM driver, 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum) Pixel Shader 2.0 and 32 bits per pixel.

Ive tried beta version...loved the eye candies.

Anyway, same as all OS...it will need time to fine tune and patch up the
bugs. I believe driver issues are the most immediate problem vista will be facing.

I will wait for 1 year after windows vista had launch or when it come out with a service pack then i will install it.

what is OEM version? Question

GSL SG

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, OEM version means that the software can't be transfer to another computer and the OS (Operating System) might be deactivate if you changes some computer hardware.

OEM version software is more cheaper but it does not include user manual and reatil box.
