I went to Singpost just now to collect a parcel which was mine,
but sent to my friend's house but then transferred to a post
office. When I went to collect, they didn't allow me to collect
because my Identification card, which is an EZlink card, didn't
have my address. They then gave me a ''Delivery Advice'' slip and
told me to full in my name and NRIC number, and then ask the
recipient to sign it. But I am unable to ask her to sign because
she is not in Singapore for the whole week, and if I don't collect
the parcel in 5 days, it will be returned to sender. What should I
do? D:
Post office is correct - You staying somewhere else - go collect
another address postage ?
Even you bring your IC also no use - your ic address is not that
address.
Frankly you will need the legal person of there to sign to
authorized you to collect on her/his behalf.
