Marco_Simone SG Oh u talking about sms. I talking about reading out of results on the phone like reading out of 4D results...
alexkusu SG had thought bout it... doin postgrad studies in sg as opposed to sweden then can attend sgf outings
DriftingGuy SG Then you should be about to enjoy the techical electives ...and in the wrong engineering faculty you can get to experience 6 mc modules.. I am not talking about research project
DriftingGuy SG Yeah.. you get your results faster but to me its still the same. And its not really like 4D. If you dont tio as in getting a C or a D it sux, whereas in 4D the probabilty is so low you wont think anything about it
fudgester SG Yeah I know I'll be starting to take technical electives from next semester onwards. Planning to go for two electives next semester.
798 SG ntu results not out yet. n somehow the result n subjects registration fall on date which is very close.
DriftingGuy SG Yeap, 2 electives per sem to fulfill criteria or to specialize right? Not quite long ago are those are some guys from ROC whos doing 4 elects per sem.. and trying to get the faculty head to grant them dual specializations
fudgester SG Yeah... I'll be specialising in aeronautical. I need to clear five technical electives. So I plan to clear two electives in the next two semesters, and on ein the final semester. FOUR technical electives in one sem? Are these guys high on weed or something?
DriftingGuy SG If you consider 6 modules per sem as truly amazing you should ask what those guys from ROC are doing. You can ask deathscythe.. hes from the same engine faculty thats rather famous for this Aeronautical engineering. Its a great choice right? The industry is currently booming
fudgester SG I'm totally used to doing six modules per semester. I've been doing that for the past four semesters, and I'm planning to do that again next sem. But four technical electives at one go... that's WAAAAY outta my league.
DriftingGuy SG And yet some of them can manage it, easily some more. And you sometimes wonder whether hard work can really stand a chance if you compete against those that are naturally talented or smart and skew the bell curve
fudgester SG I already know that I don't stand a chance against some of them. They way I see it, I do my stuff, they do theirs. I've got nothing to prove against them, and I don't expect them to have anything against me in return.
