one36 SG thank you for responding. all are valid reasons.personally, i used to enjoy work and was a passion-driven person. till the past year or so, i have found work meaningless. can't seem to find motivation other than to make a living. hence this question is lame but is very real to me.

In regards to the money part... ya... to help with your monthly expenses.
