fudgester SG I can still remember my ME2134 Fluid Mechanics I exam last semester. There were four long questions. First question: 15 MCQs. Got negative marking. -1 mark for each wrong answer. I had to leave a couple of questions totally blank. My reasoning was that it was better to get zero marks than -1 mark. 2nd, 3rd, 4th questions: Open-ended long questions. I couldn't do ANY of them. They were all extremely difficult. In the end, I decided to just write lots and lots of bullsh*t. My reasoning was that it was better to write some bullsh*t which sounds logical (even if it isn't) than to leave them totally blank. On the day of the results, I was totally stressed. I thought I would have to semula this module. Somehow I got A-. Totally unexpected miracle. My peers who left their answers blank got Bs and Cs. Moral of the story: even if you don't know the answer, just write bullsh*t. Sometimes, you can really get away with it.

fudgester SG MA1506 got helpsheets right? I kind of remember doing helpsheets for that module when I took it two sems ago.
fudgester SG .... *knocks hisoka's head with Nalgene bottle* When did you take that module? I took it last semester. It was much, much, much tougher than the previous semesters.
hisoka SG quite long le. i took it in year 2 sem1 i now year 4 le. actually i didn't do well for ma1506 also
fudgester SG *me pats hisoka's head* I'm taking MA3501 this semester. I dunno about you, but personally, I find the going easier than MA1506. The irony of it - a Level 3000 module can be easier than a Level 1000 module. Any tips/tactics you've got to recommend me?
hisoka SG i found ma3501 much harder. Maybe it had to do witht he fact that i spent most of the time sleeping in class
deathscythe99 SG Hmmm my helpsheet managed to fit one piece of paper (both sides) for all e 3 Chaps covered. DArned...I'm missing something, right ?
deathscythe99 SG Hmmz in that case... I think I'd better revise. Darn....cant get into mood, keep forgetting...
