Nope.But good to hear that..I gave up on 151 after taking it once, when I had to pass off 3 buses at Sunset Way busstop due to overcrowding.

That pushed me to take 184 to Clementi and switch to 96 rather than the 75/151 combination.

Now..the next one is the 171 and Bendy bus issue.That service badly needs a larger bus.

Especially on weekends.It's often sardines by Scotts Road..

Actually, bendy buses may not solve all prob, because problem is that ppl dun wanna move into the 2nd carriage... Got ghost or what I dunno

Adjust the current 12 mins frequency to say 8-9 mins

The sardines is partly due to the smaller bus body, SMRT buses they are seat spacious which leads to lesser seats and lesser standing space

Yeah the frequency could do with some adjustment.Usually most people won't move into the 2nd carraige because there have been cases where its noticeably warmer.

However it's much better than having single carriage buses.

Actually 171 was better off when it was operated by SBS bef 1994

Well if they have higher frequency they'll definitely take into account the usage rate of the buses, the number of drivers required additionally, plus count into the depreciation of the fleet of their buses blah blah blah...

We're giving them an excuse (and ammo) for increase in fares next time Laughing

Not always, for SMRT it would be as they have shortage of buses unlike SBS

Anyway, 151 has been stealing buses from lower demand svs at Hougang, see many reg that does not belong to 151 appears... They are from svs like 83 (Punggol - Sengkang)
