[b]Tips for
Resume
Simpler is better, keep your reseume short.
preferably one page is more than enough. recruiters have hundreds
of resumes to read, a resume that is short and easy to read will
catch the recruiter's eyes more.
Recruiters receive many many resumes titled "resume"
as their file name, so it would help if you add yor name to the
document name when u save it.
Do not use wacky e-mail address such as
[email protected] or [email protected] as it would give the
recuiter the impression that you are not serious about your
career.
Eliminate use of emoticons such as smiley or
frowns.
Use spell checkers and grammer checkers, grave
grammatical or spelling mistakes are not tolerated.
Use well-known formats like microsoft word, PDF, so
that files can be easily opened on the recriving end.
Scan your computer and files for viruses. sending
viruses unintentionally will result in recruiters discarding your
resume without reviewing them.
Write subject lines that are concise and clearly
label the contents of the message.
Do not apply for jobs without meeting the minimum
qualifications.
