bismarck SG OT but i chanced upon 2 diff records regarding babies 1 was a number of babies born in the first few mths of this year, pathetically few. 200+ only another record was of this 17yr old girl getting pregnant and aborting the baby at 4mths .
bismarck SG nowadays employee welfare belongs to the bin. so a staff going on 3 mths company sponsored leave is not economically viable. to them it is paying u 3mths to do something not for the company.

icebaby0 SG baby sitters aren't cheap too. Most are charging abt $500, not including food, diapers, etc If you want baby to be taken care on weekends or public holidays, they charge extra..some up to $50 each extra day. So having maid in a way is cheaper but regardless it's a hugh cost.
icebaby0 SG The funny thing is that, I am hearing from friends that there are getting more women being the sole breadwinner rather than the husbands. The husband prefer to laze around and do "own business" which is not always profitable. Eventually for those whose husbands are not helping much the women has to do everything and literally pay for everything. It's also one of the reason why some women just don't want to have kids. Cos there is no help whatsoever from the male side. **Don't shoot me, I am just saying there are SOME males that are like that.

shinta SG many maids are fresh here.. tho my mom says its better to have someone who's green, than to hve someone experienced, i dun have the time to teach them everything.. the trainings that they received are bull... my family had employed 5 maids in the past, so i've seen them doin things before.. bao ka liao... i just wan someone to take care of my babe while i'm away at work... dun need them to bao ka liao....
