Zarks;
I think it's more than just a lan outing, the main motive is
to get to know more real life friends. I hate to say but there's a
big difference between virtual reality and the real world. Many
hardcore gamers like to reason out his addiction by arguing that
people only notice gaming as a major problem because of it's
negative reputation, and if someone else spent the same time
building cars as a gamer spend the number of hours on his game,
they won't say anything about the car builder but they will
disapprove of the gamer. My point here is, if the car builder
starts building his cars to the extent that he lives in a garage
and hide under a car everyday and loses his social status then yes,
i would say it's a problem, but most of car builders don't do that,
yet majority of the gamers are losing their social life. I hope you
will understand the pain that I took to do all this, i don't wish
to be controlled by my gaming addiction, i would rather control it
and gain some new friends in the progress. Anyway I hope you can be
there too for the outing:)
