40kg?
If its pasted high up..There may be a tendency of it falling
down & hurt some one.
Why must use tape? cannot drill hole to mount it using expanding
bolts? Safer mah..
When want to take down, buy $2/- cement fill up the hole.
By far in Singapore, there is a 3M industrial Strength filliment
tape, but the price is $18++ for a small roll. Don't expect it to
be seen at supermarkets or normal diy shops. Have to go those real
五金店 to find.
For me, anything above 3-5 kg to by hung, i use screws or bolts.
You never know when it'll drop down if sway sway the adhesive tape
give way.
They reason is "the tape" althought MAY say tahan so much KG, so
you hv to consited the humidity of the place they tested in &
the place you use it..
Tape when under sun will lose the properties of the adhesive, for
longer time , it dry up.
So you hang 40kg, if anything happen..
I cannot think of anything 40kg that justify the need for only
using tape.
