needing $ for courses

is it true that in SG, if you're unable to cough out $ to pay for a full-time course, it's the end of the road? i really want to enrol in NAFA but i don't have enough money, and i don't think WDA sponsor this kind of thing...

i'm currently working but am willing to quit my job next year to enrol myself in NAFA.

some advice would be greatly appreciated.

last 2 needs at least a decent portfolio.

WDA subsidy is not 100% anyway....think its 80%.

till got this thing called tuition grant.

so, if i try applying for NAFA or Egg Story Digital Academy (http://www.esdaa.com.sg/start.html), i am actually elligible?

if anyone has any past experiences, pls let me know.

i'm very lost and scared as i'm in my late twenties and am considering this big step for a career change and i am very determined.

i finished O. july den start sch. studying dip in music performance lor... the fees chor..... 2.7k per term... n is u pay 2.7k first ....... btw ts u went for audition le?

work until u have saved enough money for the course
and all other expenses tt will be incurred while studying

or u can work and do PT plus get study loan

there are options. just whether u willing to wait a few years, work a bit harder or make use of the channels available

tks for the replies....i've checked with the school (Egg Story Digital Art Academy) and they say WDA will susidise and still got that SPUR-stipend to further subsidise..., so in the end course end up very affordable.

i'll see how it goes.
