Dota standards on lancraft/zion

Boyish84 SG

I've been playing dota since 5.84b around last year November and have faced many worthy opponents. However this trend changes with the introduction of 6.xx series. All the cocks, noobs,f***ing quitters have been appearing since then in almost ever games that i played with my friends.

I wonder where are all the decent players have gone to? All playing 5.84c for WCG?

shade343 SG

Yup. You are right all are still training 584c for WCG. The WCG is not over yet. But if you not taking part, I suggest you start training 6.11 for next year WCG. Very Happy

chArr` SG

but u all prefer 584 or 611?

Boyish84 SG

5.84c is imba with MoM,medusa and maybe morphling and the teleporting of ur hero back to ur base at the opponents base.

I prefer 6.xx versions due to new items, nerfing of overpowered heros, buffing really weak heros, new heros and revamp of certain heros, map layout..etc..I.E to say, more fun!

shade343 SG

You forgot about Manta style in 584c... Laughing

To a certain extent, I still prefer 584c becos of the simplicity of the map and the lighter colors. I find version 6.xx not really user friendly...the map look squite complicated and seems to put a strain on the user...but I like the improvements made to the heroes and items of version 6.xx Smile

the.raven SG

I liked the original Dota, the one where u choose a char with a shade Laughing

Boyish84 SG

6.xx map ok lah, adjust contrast and brightness suitable to your eyes or put monitor glare can already. I have no problem playing 3 matches in a row without resting or having felt my eyes were strained.

shade343 SG

dunno leh...I find the background very distracting..cant really play properly in 6.11 as compared to 584c...

dibilo SG

its time to move on, hahaha. yup as you guys have said, 6.xx is more balanced. SA used to be a noob hero where u can get kills by placing ward behind dying heroes, medusa with matra, void with timestop, morphing with spell steal. all these are heavily abused.

chArr` SG

yea true..but i miss sa ward!!now need alot more skills to play sa..but wat’s the diff between blink and blink strike?havent use sa from 6.xx..cant u blink normally when u click on a terrain?

stellazio SG

sa is much more fun to use now den the old version..it requires alot of skill, frankly for me,after i haf moved on to the 6 versions, the 5.84 terrain looks sucky to me now..btw guys 6.12 is out already..too bad for you to have many leavers and quitters,i play inhouse..haha..

dark_snowboy SG

Oh yes its cool if u play inhouse, but i duno why, 99.999% of the time i play i lose Laughing

stellazio SG

not up to standard..LOL.. Laughing

dark_snowboy SG

its my karma Laughing

shade343 SG

Noob Team... Laughing

dark_snowboy SG
