Most of us are born with good eyesight. Only a very small
percentage are born with eye problem.
In Singapore, we have the lazy eye syndrome, and lots of
unqualified opticians who capitalise on it.
Walk around, how challenging is the scenery.
The buildings, the pavement, the roads, the trees, the shrubs.
They are all near, and when you walk about you need not see far.
You need not focus on any particular point, you can just walk with
your eyes open. And thats what most Singaporeans do. The landscape
is unchallenging to the eyes.
Then there is the stress of school text books, the PC Screen,
and poor posture in reading for prolong periods x a number of
years.
Eye sight fluctuates, as health affects and enviroment affects
it temporarly. This can be cured by rest, and eye exercise. Also
country side scenery helps exercise the eyes, as you focus on the
birds and the fruits and look out where you step, and also the
distant clouds and hills. You look far and near. This keeps
your eyes well. But sometimes it get weak due to illness or stress,
and you can't see as clearly. This is usually temporary.
Going to the optician and getting a pair of spectacles, and you
are done for, if you become dependent on it. Spectacles prevent the
eyes from recovering, if used for extended periods, it becomes a
clutch.
Spectacles are supposed to let you see well, so as to reduce
stress on the eyes, and help them in recovering.
In Singapore's case spectacles ruin many eyes, and they
have become clutchs.
There is no food that is good for the eyes. But Vitamin A
is reported to be good for the eyes, and is found in red vegetables
like carrots.
Take care of your eyes, and your childrens, at an early
age.
Good job turning this into a boring thread with that wall of
text.
