I share your view, Ron should retire

thecross SG

hey, nice to know there are supporters, so who do you think will be alonso’s team mate next year? I hope they sign Kubica, he is a protege, future champ….that is if ron dennis is not too proud to approach him. I think de larosa hasnt got the instinct.

Gedanken SG

I take it you haven't seen any seasons between 1988 and 1992? Those would make 1998 and 1999 look completely off-form.

Should Dennis retire? Maybe. I've seen years when he was right on top of things and had the team running like a Swiss watch, and back then nobody could touch him. These days, he seems to have slipped. If the trend continues, then yes, I think he should let someone else run the show.

Should he retire instead of Scum? Definitely not. We're better off without Scum cheating than without Dennis' complaining.

Gedanken SG

I agree that PDLR is not the guy to make the most use of his Mac. On the other hand, I would not necessarily say that Kubica's the man - Rosberg's also got a good head on his shoulders and would be the guy I'd pick as future champ.

That said, Kubica does remind me a bit of Stefan Bellof. He's got some potential.

skid SG

Ralf Schumacher? Laughing He shares the same family name but not the driving skills of Michael

Gedanken SG

Well, they don't call him Half Schumacher for nothing. Mr. Green

Gazelle SG

F1 is definitely more exciting when MS is around. If MS is a Scum, then there are plenty of legendary scums in the sporting world isnt it?

Gedanken SG

Hmm - exciting is certainly not the word I'd use for it. My idea of exciting is Villeneuve/Arnoux at Dijon 1979.

Playing bumper cars is one thing, and certainly other drivers can be accused of that. On the other hand, specifically structuring team orders and parking a car across the track to halt a qualifying session are a whole different kettle of fish. Nobody's ever been that scummy.

Gazelle SG

F1 will always be more interesting if you have more WDC around because they will set the benchmark for all other drivers. Without MS next year, and Alonso jumping into a ??? MP4-22, how interest will it get?

Lets hope Ferrari and Kimi dont dominate next year, or else its going to be boring as far as fighting for championship is concerned.

Gedanken SG

Well, I'd partly agree. If there are a couple of real WDCs around, things can get lively. On the other hand, if you've got a so-called champ who depends on his contratually bound #2 as a tail gunner, things get boring pretty quick.

Gazelle SG

Do you think you will be a WDC if you have Ruben as you teammate? Laughing

If you say team order is the reason for MS WDC, then what about poles and fastest lap? If i am not mistaken, I think MS hold all the records for most no. of poles and fastest lap. What do you have to say about that? Time keeper cheating?

And what would you say about Maradona's infamous Hand of God? That is cheating isnt it? And why is Marodona still ranked one of the greatest footballer of the decade?
