TORO ROSSO'S NEW CAR REVEALED

Formula 1's newest team, Scuderia Toro Rosso, ran its new car for
the first time in testing at Jerez on Thursday.
Scuderia Toro Rosso was created after Red Bull owner Dietrich
Mateschitz bought the Minardi team last September.
It's not surprising then that the new STR-1, looks similar to last
year's Red Bull.
It was given an initial run by the team's lead driver Vitantonio
Liuzzi.
Red Bull's B-team controversially plans to use restricted versions
of Cosworth's 3-litre V10 engine, thanks to an agreement by the
other teams to allow Minardi to continue using the motors for
financial reasons.
The STR-1 ran with the engine on its roll-out in Spain.
The car, in Red Bull's traditional, dark blue and red striped
colour scheme, features several detail changes from the RB-1
including tightly-sculpted bodywork and new front-wing.
STR, which has been running with just Red Bull and Cosworth
branding in winter testing, plans an official launch for its team
identity in Bahrain during the week prior to the first grand prix
of the season.
