Thanks for the reminder to go revise physics, but it’s not really my thing.

I’ll admit I tried it before. It was a painful experience. Bare skin on bare skin minus natural or man-made lube can turn quickly into ugly red spots or even rashes

This is correct. Hair is slicker than skin.

Hair + hair = sticking to each other, rubbing with force

Hair + skin = less friction
