The term actually is a Singlish thingy. The "Ang Mo" is Hokkien
while "Gal" is sort of English, so if you change "Gal" to "Guy"
then it becomes a blonde men thing. This term mostly used in
Singapore, not sure about abroad as I hate travelling.
Thank you very much
Askingyouto , so one could call a blonde guy ang mo too then
? This may in fact be an actuial Singapore
dialect exists. Singapore having a mixture of
bahasa,English,cantonese,manderin,hokkien ,Chiuchow. Could it be
that those in Singapore who speak cantonese speak Singapore
cantonese now ? Those who speak manderin in Singapore speak
Singapore manderin now ? Singapore English speakers speaking
Singlish ? and so on. I am very curious to what those who
have a valid viewpoint have to say and I will appreicate your
feedback. THanks again Askingyouto
