Why do people lose their cool so easily?

i saw a man and woman engaged in a shouting match. it ended with the woman walking away in anger, presumably to work.

the man was carrying a child.

they shouted so loudly at each other i am sure the whole neighbourhood heard them. why behave that way in front of a child, yours or otherwise? dont they know it will frighten the kid?

people with low or no EQ shouldnt get married.

it seems yelling at each other is a common occurence in this neighbourhood.

are singaporeans too stressed out?

Next time you want to yell back at your future spouse during a quarrel, at least you can look back to your post and think twice.

I feel it's better to quarrel than to bottle everything up, which is very damaging but I agree with you they shouldn't do it in front of the child.

Getting angry and shouting in public is defintely a good definition of losing cool but I agree as spectators we cant judge people until we know what is going through their minds at that moment of madness.

Shouting and gettting angry is nothing really bad.Since we been taught when young that Army officers shout and get angry in national day.

So getting angry and shouting is part of our life. Its talking so loud in bus and MRT that get on my nerves!

When u are angry,u shout.Its natural.There nothing wrong with it.

what they really meant was maybe something drastic has happened between them.
you know we as humans(majority) lose our cool easily if someone really said something bad.

but like you said. it was a marriage, its between two of them. not us. but i agreed it shouldn't be trashed out in the presence of the baby.

sometimes.. you know.. in the heat of moment.... it just cant be helped but to shout. you aint thinking with your head. you'd just blurt out whatever shit words you can think of.

i shout too, when quarreling with my last ex. but not in public places. id try to control and not make a scene because if not, things will turn out to be fuckin ugly. but id tend to say nasty stuffs, thats not good either. For now, i regretted what i have done. so much. Learning to keep my cool now. Too late? maybe....
