Dear friends,
The mandatory death penalty in Singapore is an archaic and
draconian law that requires review and eventual abolition. To
highlight this issue, fellow NUS Law School students will be
holding a forum on the mandatory death penalty at the Substation
from 2pm this Saturday, 6th March.
Renowned lawyer and activist, M Ravi, currently defending death row
inmate, Yong Vui Kong, will be providing first-hand insights on why
the mandatory death penalty should be abolished and how to call for
this change. Please help spread the message around for a clear show
of support for the forum.
Say No to the MDP.
