not enough good men and women and good offsprings to solve problems in singapore?

whatever good ones who are not strong enough in singapore will be molded and turned into bad ones.

and thats how a country will eventually rot with nothing to fix it naturally or man made.

not nsurprised if spore end up into fishing port where singaporeans end up werking in fishing trawlers catching fish from oceans and selling it to other countries.

i have noticed in factories ,quite a lot of average people mess up and cant solve problems.it cost the companies millions in lost revenues and at times other innocent people their jobs too.....irregardless of work experience and age..they seem to depend on someone else.and now the P.R.s from malaysia also end up depending on someone else.

its like a bunch of ants who got no strength to pick up stuff to bring back to nest to build a better ant colony or to build themselves up and the queen ant seems absent.

the ant colony will only stay for one generation before everything is depleted.

They should have their own vendors to help them out if it was very complicated. Minor teething problem should solve by themselves. Companies never send them for training to be able to solve the problems?

Hitman~ SG

and even if there were new ants brought in and with the ant birth rate ...they would be eaten and cannibalised by starving stronger ants!!the older, weaker or yunger weaker ants would be cannibalised in their ant colony!!!but the stronger cannibal ants would only last as long as there is food to be cannibalised from internal and external source!

unless the smaller and older ants fight as one and secure a stable order....there would be no future for the ant colony under cannibal ants who eat their own kind.

depending on vendors....yes but everyone appears to like magic show

singapore industrial attitude is badly screwed.

Just like huge database center...complex and need vendors help where customers database are concern.

But would be better if staff can solve it by themselves, that will save money and time.

bahnhoff SG

this is not typically a Singapore problem you have described. it actually exist almost everywhere around the world. you need someone who can and have the specific problem solving skills. Yes, this is where specialised vendors or management consultants come in, depending on where the problem is. there is only so much rank and file workers can do...management types will be the ones fire fighting. if still unable to solve, then hire specialised help before it hits the bottomline of the company.

BUT THEY DIDNT SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS AND SOME PRODUCTIONLINES CALLED FOR OVERTIME EVERY DAY...EATING INTO PROFITS....MOST OF THEM IN THOSE LINES HAVE MORE FOREIGN TECHS IN IT.

MANAGEMENT CANT SOLVE IT....TRAINED ENGINEERS FROM USA CANT SOLVE IT TOO....SO END UP I SOLVED IT IN SPORE TILL THE DAY I LEFT SPORE......AFTER THAT SINGAPORE GORT THE WORSE IN RECESSION CUZ THEY GOT EVERYONE DEPENDING ON SOME PEOPLE LIKE ME...FOREIGNER TECH PERSONELL HAVING SEX AT LUNCH WHILE LEAVING ME TO SOLVE PRODUCTION OLINE.....ENGINEERS WHO SPEND TOO MUCH TIME SURFING INTERNET AND NOT EVEN DOING THEIR iSO PAPERWERK AND END UP I HAVE TO DO ALL OF IT AND EXPLAIN TO EXTERNAL AUDITORS .....THEY NEED A MAGICIAN,....NOT ME.IM TOO LOWLY PAID IN SINGAPORE.

They used to think foreigners are the best options in problem solving. Not locals.

So you're having a problem with work with incompetent people in your company

You have incompetent people everywhere

So you're having a problem with work with incompetent people in your company

You have incompetent people everywhere

If you do work too fast, your boss thinks that you can work faster. Construction takes 3 days to do instead of 3 weeks.2nd hotel new world incident.

I deal with incompetent people everyday, even ones that get people killed in worksite by using the wrong equipment.

Boss only want everything to be fast.

Even thought you are fast, boss will want you to be extra fast.

Nothing will satisfy boss. You work 100%, boss want 110%.

So, do only 80% will do. Afterall boss will not satisfy with the work.

Most of the time the problem is not a problem at all.

Most of the problem arises from covering one's arse.

BadzMaro SG

Wow, I didnt know Singapore is the only country with problems.

bahnhoff SG

people create problem, other people get hired or contracted to solve problem. that's how the world goes... if no problem how to create more jobs? :)
