To be frank, it's an extremely interesting module, and both the
lecturer and graduate tutor were excellent. I gave them top marks
and kudos in the end-of-semester feedback survey.
The thing is, it's closed-book. And materials science has a
notorious reputation of being a field where you can write a full
one-page answer and still get zero marks.
