Hate 19 Apr 1996

to me, hate is a familiar thing
it's requirement for profound understanding seldom make me think
why is there such a thing in this world called hate ?
to this question, my answer : it's all in your head
i had seen cases where hate acts
victim's freedom it hacks
and satisfaction the perpetrators had
this crazy little thing called hate
almost anyone had

He 10 Jun 1996

he who brought life to us
a lot of doubts i want to ask
dinosaurs did he create ?
if yes, why did he stop them from procreate ?
he gave them life just like us
but wipe them out because they are pain in his arse ?
what's the colour of his creation ?
one or several colours mixed to perfection ?
if one colour, why are the present us coloured differently ?
environment cause it to change drastically ?
how many did he make ?
only two or many more before he took the break ?
if two, why is the population in excess ?
unless they are all conceived through incest
many more questions persist
an enquiring mind all should have, i insist

Heart-Broken 11 May 1996

what a blow i receive
feel i was deceived
she had a boyfriend already
i got to know only recently
asked her why she never mention him in U
she said she seldom like to talk about him in U
i swallowed the news hard
and to think i try to win her heart
how could she not stop me when i start
if i know she had been attached, i will automatically part
after two semesters and hopeful
she sunk all my hopes and i feel like a fool
worst was the timing
when i was back to army to serve my remaining
i do some soul-searching
what went wrong initially
perhaps all along it was a one-sided affair ?
just me being too confident and she not ready to be fair
maybe to love was wrong
only heavy-metal gives true love and warmth
i'm free now
ready to rock the town

I 23 Apr 1996

dwelling in the den, i thrive
carrion, carcass and corpse pile up high
dwelling in the den, i feed
flesh and blood to keep me fit
dwelling in the den, i prey
upon livings that pray
dwelling in the den, i grow
a Behemoth with eyes that glow
dwelling in the den, i procreate
hideous crossbreeds to be made
dwelling in the den, i wait
the time when all of them will be awake
dwelling in the den, i swear
break free from the chains i wear
I am. I'm Me !!!

Heavy-metal I 21 Apr 1996

heavy-metal bands
i adore and admire like hell-bent
been listening to them since Secondary Four
and no people is gonna make my interest for them fall
those people know shit
a bunch of ignoramus who when listen to music, their faces are white as a sheet
they frown upon heavy-metal
when in the first place, nothing's the matter
dunno why they are so agitated and against
does hating heavy-metal make them gain ?
my advice to them : don't push people to the wall
or else they will embark on the path to war !

Heavy-metal II 21 Apr 1996

(dedicated to all those heavy-metal haters out there)

heavy-metallist is a often misunderstood lot
pity people's minds are locked
they know not the anger
all their eyes perceive is at an angle
they know not the agony
all their mind-set is anti-pathy
they know not the anguish
all they want is the music to be extinguished
they know not the frustation
all they want is total annihilation
they know not the conviction
all they wish is annexation
they know not the ideals
all they believe is heavy-metallist sign the Devil's bargain deal
they know not the beliefs
all they hope is the eradication of heavy-metal and they will be relieved
they know not the freedom
all they want is to assimilate them into one kingdom
they know not the criticism
all they do is to accuse them as harbingers of pessimism
they know not the rights
all they do is to incite them to fights
to people who wonder
10 simple reasons for you to ponder

Immortality 14 Sep 1996

am i dreaming
an elusive dream
those visions
those desires
suppressed in my mind
waiting for the sign
to break free
live forever i see
i want to be
please grant me

Invitation 08 July 1996

step into my world
feel my pain and woe
walk through my inner emotion
witness my anger and frustration
peek at my yearnings
see my fear and misgivings
experience the various feelings swirling inside me
at no extra surcharge or fee
you must understand now why i feel that way
torment and anguish everyday
happy i want to be too
alas! heaven forbid me to ...

It 08 May 1996

the time is right
for it to strike
emerge from it's hide
8 foot in height

face covered with scales
smoke from the nostrils exhale
flapping wings stir up a gale
exhibiting arrow-like tail

fiery red eyes stare
cavernous mouth with pointed tooth glare
hands and legs sprout with sharp hair
surrounds the body everywhere

glides in the sky
suitable victims it spy
crushing power taloned fingers apply
human body parts fly

beware of it, the beast
which hail from the east
it has come for the feast
nightmare that will never cease

Colour of the flower
Has already faded away,
While in idle thoughts

My life passes vainly by,
As I watch the long rains fall.

Kiasuism 19 Apr 1996

a phrase coined by Singaporeans
never fail to catapult them into another realm
good images are forgone
good manners are all gone
where have all the years of education gone to ?
and all the effort and money too ?
guess they are programmed to receive
to apply, deceive
i wonder how low can they go
to achieve their so-called goals

Kiss 14 Sep 1996

your alluring kiss
i miss
won't you please
come on and tease
don't ever cease
or i will seize
a risk
i take with ease
so stop your hiss
and enjoy our feast
