hmm okie...i show u some of my files for my project...
create table Course(
Number int Primary Key,
Name varchar(45),
Professor varchar(15),
Department varchar(20),
ClassNum int);
this is used to build the table course...
then actually to insert data, you can just put all the names into a
notepad file, and then do
Load Data local infile '/path/course.txt' into table course;
course.txt is the notepad file where you put in all the info, must
be in order of cos according to what you have put in for the
table...
not sure if you can use this method or they want you to do it line
by line...if yes, I will teach u dat...but need to go look up the
syntax cos i m more familiar with uploading them from the notepad
file..
