When I speak in Mandarin, people think I'm from Indonesia.When I speak in English, they call me kentang.When I speak in Hokkien, people ask if I'm from Malaysia.

What to do what to do.. Laughing Peranakans are always misunderstood, worse still, kentang Peranakan who cannot really speak Mandarin but only English and Hokkien. Embarassed

Actually if Im in a hawker center, I'll switch into Hokkien..sometimes with taxi drivers.
