harryryan SG Anyway Japan is an oversaturated market.... thinking maybe Canada,Korea,China or Russia will be better choices as they are not so commerical n have more room for experimentation...but even if i do continue in this line also won't be so soon...gotta feed myself first b4 talking about dream chasin
harryryan SG India is a good choice but i went for a MDA programme that showcased some of the production companies there.I had a bad shock.... they have some companies who r doing some good 3D animation but their traditional Cel Animation is still stuck in e days of He man of e 80s.... bad disappointed cos there was so much hype around India being e best place to send ur animation for in betweenings but -_-!!!
starblue SG cannot see leh.. he blocks people from seeing. T_T i am so tempted to send him a msg.. but i dunno wad to say...
harryryan SG ai ya... just send him a smile ...once he sees it is someone he knows,he will add u one...
M©+square SG Haha....don't know much about animation and CG cell. Sorry. One think i know is, they are extremely powerful in their engineer and technical knowledge. Hence, software handling is 'chicken feet' but in artistic sense and foundation, they are way backwards.
CoolMyth SG Curious mah. You dun trust me? I just noticed you changed your friendster profile. Chio wor....
harryryan SG True.... Lasalle(my college) puts more emphasis on creative development.... it does not make us more employable but at least we know wat we r doing n why we doing it... experimenting with new media n techniques r like being drilled into us from day 1 so we will not onli just be blindly copying but thinking of ways to break thru. Singapore Arts Councill is like pumping in alot of cash to make animation look like e next big thing, alot of courses r being offered in ITEs,Polys and even private insititutes...hopefully,it will not be like e IT bubble burst scenario which was onli good for a couple of years.
