Is Japan in declining?

zenden9 SG

From lousy car, aging population, bankrupt nationa airline to a shrinking economy....

I don;t think Japan can make a comback anymore. Now nobody even bother to watch the use to be popular japan drama.

I bet another 10 years, maybe nobody will even bother to read manga or watch anime anymore..

another 20 years, Japan may have the same standard as third world country...

Japan is not breeding anymore children to replace themselves>best case scenerio, import people from china and korea to boost fertility rate forging better ties with fellow asians hence creat prosperity for herself and asia pacific.

Worst case scenerio> throwback to tokugawa era of isolation and close door policies for business and immigration.

Both options are tough for the psyche for japanese >the first goes against the bloodline purity mindset of yamato people and the second goes against the modernity that the japanese people enjoyed over the post war period.

Ribena.Romanticons SG

Not true. Japan's digital strengths and popular culture is an inalienable part of Asia.

It is USA, which will be declining in power and influence...
