hi everyone, like a bad penny, i'm back Twisted Evil

went to farmart today... it's a nice place.. if only the shops were all open and not so run-down..

there were interesting places in there like the 2 ponds to catch prawns, and a few places with good buys.. like the place that sells quails and chicken.. now they also sell crocodile meat along with the herbs that you need to cook croc soup...

then there are some pet shops and fish shops..

i liked the prawn fishing place best.. it's supposedly 24 hour.. and we saw some people there fishing, drinking and having a pretty good time Wink

well, with a set of 8 year-old triplets along, it was pretty cool and they behaved themselves too Wink

alexkusu SG

have fun hor.... Just realised.. ur class start bout 2-3weeks time. Sigh..so lucky! Sad

alexkusu SG

Btw bear, did u get the OVA series of Kenshin?

the Bear SG

which one?

never figured out what the OVA or whatever were...

i have the series on DVD, the one showed on TV.. plus an additional episode not shown on the tube, where it was beautiful.. the one where he finally referred to Kaoru as "Kaoru" and not "Miss Kaoru"...

also there are 2 movies which i have, the "prequel" Trust and Betrayal.. where he was rescued by his master and became "Kenshin" instead of "Shinta" and became the Battousai when Tomoe became his wife...

and the other, Reflections.. many years down the road from the turmoils he helped bring peace to...

alfagal SG

gosh triplets?

alexkusu SG

Hmm.. i have ep 1-100? and reflections

OVA is the one where he meets Tomoe or sth..about 5 ep?

On the last ep of reflections, his scars disappears as he collapsed onto Kaoru's lap rite? Did he die? Shocked

alexkusu SG

maybe i shud go dl the two movies. Correct me if Im wrong, but Reflections contain snippets or scenes frm the movie right?

the Bear SG

yeah... you should see that family.. so many twins too Razz

what to do? we're all catholic Laughing

alexkusu SG

Btw Bear, u know Kenshin’s voice is that of a female right?

alfagal SG

oh manz my nose is running everywhere…cough is dry…head is heavy..so sleepy..but i slept well last night though..dunno why..

the Bear SG

yeah... Kenshin was dying.. and lost his mind as well as his memories...

his body ravaged by the injuries sustained in the past as well as a mystery disease which Kaoru shared...

with the help of his great friends, Samanosuke and Yahiko, they brought back Kenji to Kaoru and somehow, Kenshin, with the final reserves of his energy, went home to Kaoru, and died, peacefully.. finally finding the peace he never had, in the lap of Kaoru..

it was beautiful Very Happy

the Bear SG

poor you... i think maybe you were exhausted that's why you slept well..

see a doc and get some antihistamines? Neutral

alexkusu SG

For the japanese, the most beautiful way to die is either when its snowing, or sakura petals falling frm trees

but in the manga, they lived happily ever after. They even have picnic with Aoshi and Misao! Shocked
