1) why do i feel extremely lethargic in the week following
my period? is there a biological reason to that? by
lethargic i mean always feel like sleeping. and when i take
a nap, (on bus, in a chair, any place) i tend to fall really deep
into sleep. not like the usual where i will be waken by
loud noises. but when i am dun feel like sleeping, my concentration
is not compromised.
How much pad do you use during menstruation, and are they all
fully soak... Tell me the flow of the blood during your
menstruation (you can PM me if you feel embarrased since I am
trying to rule out excessive blood loss through menstruation)
Usually, it depends on how you cope with your menstruation... some
will feel low and lousy during that period because of hormone surge
(LH, FSH and progesterone)... These hormones are well known in
altering the mental status of the affected and causing them to be
much irritable and easily angered...
Some however maintain a positive lifestyle by practicing hygiene
and take in healthy fruit juices and food to make themselves feel
well and treat menses as a condition to clear the dirt in their
womb.
Most after a potential blood loss of up to 80ml on average of blood
during menses will succumb to the effects of tiredness and
dizziness, sometimes even feeling their heartbeat, but mostly just
do not have the energy to do anything. This is typical of a reduced
hemoglobin count and to counter it positively, take food that are
high in iron...
