Are you suffering from a condition called Febrile Fit when you
were young?
By "when I was older", how old are you exactly?
Do you still have anymore episode of fits after 6 years old,
especially the ones without fever?
The doctors are not wrong in carrying out the rightful protocol to
rule out dangerous causes of fits... Febrile fit is a diagnosis of
exclusion, more importantly is to rule out meningitis, fluid and
electrolyte abnormalities, hypoglycemia, urinary tract infection,
brain tumor or growth or vascular abnormalities in the brain
secondary to birth trauma..
