Avril Lavigne spits at
photographer
Pop singer Avril Lavigne reportedly spit on a photographer for the
second time this week while out for her birthday at the Hollywood
hotspot, Hyde Lounge.
While out celebrating her 22nd birthday at the Los Angeles locale
Wednesday, the singer spit on a photographer and shouted
obscenities for the second straight night.
The Web site said Lavigne added to her phlegm-filled routine on
Wednesday by screaming obscenities at both photographers and
autograph seekers and even wrote vulgarities on photos presented to
her.
Prior to the incident on her birthday, Lavigne reportedly spat on a
photographer's camera lens while visiting the Hyde Lounge
Tuesday.
The saga began when Avril and Deryck left the celebrity haunt on
Tuesday and decided to taunt photographers with spit on the
backseat of her waiting car.
But when the snappers moved in for a picture, the singer leapt out
of her car window and hurled a spit bomb at the camera men, leaving
one poor pap with a very sticky lens.
Avril returned the next night to indulge in a repeat performance,
this time, screaming: "Bitch!" as the spit ball hurled towards
photographers.
After the incident, Avril Lavigne apologized.
"I'd like to sincerely apologise for my behaviour with the
paparazzi. It's trying at best to deal with their insistent
intrusions. I meant no offence to my fans, whose relationship I
truly value. I have and will always go out of my way for my fans.
My behaviour was a reaction to the persistent attack from the
paparazzi.
