The photographers are definitely not the same.
Ford spent some time in Japan to promote one of her albums and the
styling in her subsequent publicity shots, like the first image on
this page of the thread, has improved noticeably since.
Anyway, Ford is a singer by profession, so she doesn't really rely
on her looks to sell her albums. At least not to the same extent as
models and actresses.
