Ho ho... well, actually one found it elsewhere, buried deep among one's dusty archives.

Kinda gives people an idea how long one has been collecting pictures. Mr. Green

One couldn't find those pictures you are talking about, but here is a consolation prize for vintage fans like you:

Yes, before there is "Star Idol", there was "Star Search".

A good year it was actually, 1988. Some patrons here might probably be too young to remember anything then, but for those of us who can, let us spend a quiet minute to recollect fond memories from that good year. Mr. Green

well they're out there somewhere. i used to have a very old magazine of them in bikinis but i lost it when i moved house. aileen tan used to be a lot more daring in her younger days.

good boy SG

by the way..do u have any more pictures of her from the magazine? i remember there being a few more.

Maybe she had better stuff to flaunt then, maybe people were more interested then. Smile

Or maybe she just mellowed after marriage.

There are, indeed.

Shall be posting them later when they are ready. Most of the pictures were published before scanners became economically accessible to the home consumer (some even before the Internet was made available to most people), so it'd probably take a while.

1989 -- not a bad year, too.

One of Chu's earliest magazine appearances before 1989 -- a publicity shot for Chu's debut TV serial "Mi Li Ye". Mr. Green

See how young her co-star Wang Wuqing looked.
