Introducing... Akemi Kazuki

Tuatau SG

You may have seen her pictures in other forums, and you may have wondered who the model is.

Well, there you have it. Akemi is a professional model of Japanese-Brazilian descent currently gaining popularity in Taiwan. She has appeared on the media endorsing several commercial products, but there has also been some recent bad press about her offending other colleagues in the fashion industry.

Akemi's father is a Japanese residing in Brazil, her mother is native Brazilian.

Take the initiative to cast the line, keep plenty of patience in stock and pray for a bit of luck... it's quite similar to courting a girl, except perhaps you wouldn't get your ears tugged at for ogling at other girls. Mr. Green

Try her kanji name -- Xiang Yue Ming Mei. Or simply search for "Akemi". Mr. Green

Ah yes, Takada Akemi -- a popular Japanese character design artist for old school anime series like "Maison Ikkoku", "Kimagure Orange Road" and "Patlabor".

A dinner with Akemi on Valentine's Day was one of the top prizes in a lucky draw contest hosted by a department store in Taipei. Many men naturally flocked to take part, but it was a lady patron who reportedly won the dinner date.

So much for the cleavage-baring number Akemi wore to the date...
