Porizkova was the first in the wave of beautiful Czech models
that left the old continent for fame and fortune abroad. She was
discovered by an Elite scout as a teenager and soon graced the
covers of the world's most prestigious magazines like Sports
Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar.
Most would remember her face from the Estée Lauder advertisements.
Not many know though, that she tried dabbling in acting, appearing
in "Her Alibi" with Tom Selleck as well as in other small-time
movies. Porizkova is currently married with kids and is in
semi-retirement from her modeling career.
