1. Bruce Lee was pretty much an ah beng. He fought in school and
on the streets and was defeated several times. He than went to
learn martial arts so that he could defeat his opponents and that
is how he became a martial art expert.
Lesson learn: There is nothing wrong in being an ah beng. Bruce
Lee was a successful ah beng. Just that if you want to be an ah
beng, you need to become undefeatable and 1 way to do that is to
learn martial arts and than defeat all your opponents.
2. Bruce Lee only became successful after he left his homeland
China to go to America. If he had continued to stay in china, he
will never become famous.
Lesson learn: It is good to migrate. You need to leave your
comfort zone in order to be successful.
3. Bruce Lee challanged and defeated alot of top martial arts
experts. That is how he became famous and got invited to film in
martial art movies.
Lesson learnt: Whatever you do in life, you need to challenge
other experts in your industry and defeat them in order for you to
become famous. Only when you become famous than will more
opportunities open up for you.
4. Bruce Lee became a national hero because when he defeat his
opponents and in his movie, he always like to say "I am a chinese.
Chinese people are not Dong Ya Bing Fu"
Lesson learnt: In whatever you do, you should try to include
your country in than you will be regarded as a national hero. For
example, if you are a top fashion designer and you win in a
international competition, say "I am a singaporean. Singapore is
not just a tiny red dot". Than you will be regarded as a national
hero.
