Gordonator SG a big thank you to mooku for updating the list. i didn't notice the list was long until today.
MooKu SG nawh no sweat actually i transplanted the list from another japanese forum and then added in those that forumites mentioned here but weren't in the list i copied
snop_coolz SG humm..i also realise that boku is often used... boku--use as I for male.. watashi male version
Mewlove SG Actually, wakarimashita is past tense yeah? Arigato gozaimashita is also past tense. Though it sounds weird cuz in English there is no past tense for thank you. Wakarimashita is understood Arigato Gozaimashita is sort of like thanked you. The present tense is used before the act and past tense is used after the act. Present tense: Please pass me the tissue thank you(arigato gozaimasu). Past tense: "I have passed you the tissue." "Oh ... thank you(Arigato gozaimashita)" But most people do not care about that anyway...
popikachu SG aishiteru means i love you right? watashi ai shimasu means what? then is someone say aishiteru how to reply back 'i love you too'?
