For those who had no idea on which artist to listen to here's a
gd place to look for them. Here I will be introducing some major
j-rock bands that really kick butt.
X JAPAN
This band is a must-know rock band for every j-rockers. They
created j-rock and 'visual kei'. Though disanded in 1997, their
rock music and smoothing ballad still rock the industry...
A little history.....
Formed by Yoshiki (Leader, drums and piano), Toshi (Vocals), hide
(guitar), Pata(guitar), Heath (bass) and Taiji (ex. bass). They
first debuted in 1982.
The band's formerly called 'X', they changed their name to 'X
JAPAN' after searching for a new bassist in US. (Since there's
another band named 'X' in US). The word ' JAPAN' is added to make
the band sound more 'local'
The band writes both heavy metal and classical ballad songs. Here's
some recommendations.
Silent Jealousy
Art of life (30min song)
Say Anything
Tears
Endless rain
Kurenai
Forever Love
