The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has invited the public to visit
the new Downtown Line 1 (DTL1) stations next month on Saturday, Dec
7.
The event will provide the public with a sneak preview of the six
completed stations before stage one of the line opens for service
on Dec 22.
From 10am to 6pm, visitors can enjoy music and activities from the
eras of 1960s to 2000 and beyond at four DTL stations - Bugis,
Downtown, Telok Ayer and Chinatown. They can also take unlimited
free rides along the stations throughout the open house.
DTL1 features six MRT stations: Bugis, Promenade, Bayfront,
Downtown, Telok Ayer and Chinatown. It is connected to the existing
East-West, Circle and North East Lines with four interchange
stations.
