Last month, I was with my niece (4 years old) and i let her
drink a slip of water from her small water bottle. However i was
scolded and abused by a fellow passenger. He step on my feet
various time and scold me simply because i allow my niece to drink
water in the train. It was also reported in the chinese waobao. I
don't see the logic too but it is also up to your luck as well
No food or drink is to be consumed on board the train or on the
station platform. However, I think the rules are slightly relaxed
if you are outside the paid area of the concourse. Still, no
smoking is allowed anywhere within the station premises.
