Safety screen doors at Ang Mo Kio MRT station to be
installed earlier
SINGAPORE: The Ang Mo Kio MRT station will be
installed with the safety screen doors on the platform earlier than
scheduled, said the new candidate for the PAP's Ang Mo Kio GRC
team, Mr Ang Hin Kee.
These doors will be installed by
June.
The announcement was made at the 30th anniversary
celebrations of the Chong Boon Market and Food Centre.
Recently, a Thai girl lost her legs after she fell onto the track
at the Ang Mo Kio station.
