This morning, there was a train/track fault at the WB side
heading PYL, causing the train i was on (005/006) to stop before
reaching PYL for roughly 2mins. After it moved on, it arrived and
stopped at PYL for abt 1min. By then, the train behind (229/230)
had caught up.

It was super near! Only <100m behind! I went back
into 005/006, and alighted at my final destination,
ALJ. Whatever fault experienced was unknown.
To me , I don't think it is very near , like <50 m , then
considered near. As you have said , you can't even see the train
properly.
