Took 079/080 on Friday night, the moment I got into the
Southbound train at Khatib station, I saw this:
When I looked at the VFDs, they read "Next Station, Yio Chu
Kang. This train service terminates at Pasir Ris."
When the train reached Yio Chu Kang, and the doors closed to
head for Ang Mo Kio, the active-route map turned blank!
By then, the VFDs read "This train service terminates at Marina
Bay."
Only when the train departed Ang Mo Kio did the active-route
maps turn back to normal.
