today was crazy on NSL, but haha i went to find out what happen
:) and i got stuck in the train for abt 15mins. there was something
wrong with the tracks and staff were on the tracks repairing i
supposed, causing NB trains to be super slow and keep on stopping.
Before khatib was 1min frequency and the train was super close.
there was no yishun bound and amk middle platform was used. video
coming up soon...need to edit alot.
Was on NB train towards Khatib around 2+pm (reservoir that
stretch), when I saw a bright flash, heard loud thunder and the
train came abruptly to a stop. Not sure if lightning struck the
train or nearby track.
Train crawled to Khatib. When doors were closing, could hear a
loud POOF and shortly after whitish smoke with burnt smell came
into the carriage (from below the train). Everyone rushed out and
train was put out of passenger service.
