There is more than 1 opening, and not all are classified as
entrance to the depot. The one you are referring to is the
vehicle entrance into the depot from the main gate itselt from Kim
Chuan Road.
There is another opening at the other end, not used, that is
located along the new Kim Chuan Road just outside Hougang Ave

I meant the opening from the ground level to the tracks below,
like the one between Kranji and Marsiling.
