NSL/EWL can achieve 2.5 mins frequency currently
NSL : 58 minutes (Full journey)
EWL : 60 minutes (Full Journey excluding CGL branch)
Now there are 106 trains...so if trains need to keep to it, we
need :
NSL : 58/2.5 = 23.2 (Round up to 24)
24 - 1 = 23 (Single track at JRE, must wait for the train to
depart before the next train can enter)
23 x 2 + 1 = 47
47 trains needed for NSL
EWL : 60/2.5 = 24
24 x 2 = 48
48 trains needed for EWL
48 + 47 + 2(CGL branch) = 97 trains needed
106 - 97 = 9 extra trains~
With the C151As we can achieve 2 mins frequency
NSL : 58/2 = 29
29x2-1 = 57 trains needed for NSL
EWL : 60/2 = 30
30x2 = 60 trains needed for EWL
60+57+2 = 119 trains needed
128-119 = 9 extra trains~~
Can achieve 2.5 mins frequency LOL but the RATIS always round up
so it shows 3 minutes.. Lol..
IF 1 minute (Japan trains frequency rox)
NSL : 58 x 2 = 116
116 - 1 = 115 trains needed
EWL : 60 x 2 = 120
120 + 115 + 2 = 237 trains needed~ Impossible
By the way, can I ask a question? Why Pasir Ris to Joo Koon only
1 hour? It should be 1 hour +.
