I enquired the situation with the station manager at Clementi
today and he actually said that he didn't think that it would be a
big deal if I took video footage of a train or station and posted
it on the internet. After all, it's not like terrorists can't just
go on a train or station and observe it if they can't just get on
YouTube and watch a video of it. It's just a pointless exercise to
stop us from taking videos and personally I don't quite see how it
will enhance security from terrorism.
But he did mention not to take things that we normally wouldn't
see often, for example, a view inside the driver's cab.
Very good! Thanks for helping us to ask! The Station Master also
did not go against taking videos and photos, a step ahead for
everyone here!
