I just want to clear my doubt, hope that you guys mind helping me, before i end up in changi for being a terrorist...

So the topic says no uploading train media, does that includes camwhoring with friends? am i considered a terrorist if i were to do that?

It may sound dumb but i'd rather take precautions... better safe than sorry they said...

Thanks for the help:)

In this case, can. If they catch you, you can prove that you are just phototaking with friends and not anything about the station or train.

This is a possibility, but the chances are much more lower.

Actually train enthusisasts may still upload videos, but please remember to set the video broadcast status to "Private", and only let those whom you know in real life watch the vid(s).

Yep, i mainly keep clips to myself. But dover is in fact the best place to film, cos the staff always slacking and thereare very few CCTV

People in train also seem like not vigilant ones... Listening music, play psp etc. And ********** can just pretend like students, and sneak in, die liao

You mean the PSOs actually grant permission? That's new to me.

many people STILL got bans. There are:

Apart from this people which has bans, the rest of them will continue to take photos and videos, but maybe can put inside Facebook, YouTube, SGForums. The map where it includes Orchard Station, maybe the police, foreign affairs ministry will throw them away.

The ban means cannot take photos and videos in MRT, due to the Orchard MRT Station suspected terrorist attack and Moscow subway bombings, for the sake of security reasons. We did not lift the ban yet. Apart from security to go normal, we still don't even bother to lift the ban and start taking photos and videos.

Videos for youyuan - 'No video until further notice' means will wait until June 10, 2010.
Videos for C751BLovur - Videos for Trains will be in Overhead Bridge View, not anywhere else.
Videos for willischong - Still can take.
Videos for jcqh1 - Still can take, but not uploading.

Jeremy Tan, not Jeremy Chang (Jtzq333).

For me, yes I will film at Overhead Bridge BUT I will wait until the SMRT SAY can take photo and video and no bombing in other country(ies). But I'm sure that they will NEVER announce this notice. If no more bombing next several years. I may be film by a notice given by some train fans, youyuan, willis and this thread may be lock in the future.

And who are you in the first place to ban people from taking photo / video? Are u even the moderator of SGF Trains? Or are you actually one of the staff? If neither, please dont talk <insert vulgar language here> stuffs and ...... (You know what I am gonna to say)

mrtdude5 SG

Do you know even know what a ban is, dude? Those who are not taking photos and videos are restraining themselevs at their own will, not because some SMRT staff chased them out of a station, confiscated their camera, and said they are not allowed to take. -_-

Samuel Lee SG

Well, the fact is if it is restraining themselevs at their own will then it should be people like C751BLovur, Willis_Chong, Jcqh, Ongyouyuan etc to announce themselves and not this TPS Timothy Mok, unless an authorization had made by these people (Apparently not)
